At the January 2020 provincial blackmsith annual general meeting, the name of the group was changed from Saskatchewan Chapter - Western Canadian Blacksmith’s Guild to Saskatchewan Blacksmith Association (SBA). A new logo has been developed to reflect this change. A graphic designer with blacksmith and metal working experience was contracted to lead the new logo development. She graciously took on the task for a $100 honorarium. A recent unanimous vote by Board of Directors made the change official. Look for new merchandise in 2021 along with an opportunity to support the Association and promote the craft. Including the logo with text.
